e-lianiko: From July 9, the applications for the 2nd cycle

The submission of applications for the 2nd cycle of the action of EPANEK “e-lianiko” starts on July 9, 2021, with the aim of subsidizing more small and medium enterprises for the creation or upgrade of their electronic store (e-shop), in order to support the operation of the media during the coronavirus pandemic, enhancing their digital transformation and ensuring the continuity of their economic activity.

For the second cycle, the applications will be submitted electronically from July 9, 2021 to September 29, 2021 and will concern those companies that did not join the first cycle of the action.

The budget of the 2nd cycle amounts to 8 million euros and costs up to 5,000 euros are subsidized to each company, for the acquisition of IT equipment and the implementation of intangible actions (software / services) in order to develop and manage their online store.

If the company already had an online store before 18/3/2020, intangible expenses of up to 1,500 euros are subsidized for its upgrade.

The action is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and by national resources.

Who are the beneficiaries?

Beneficiaries of the action are medium, small and very small companies that are active in the retail sector (main Business Activity Code or Business Activity Code with the highest income), maintain a physical store and their operation has been suspended for at least one day from Wednesday 18 March 2020 onwards.

The companies are divided into existing ones, if they have been established until 30/09/2019, and newly established ones, if they have been established after this date.

To finance this action, you need to apply electronically to the State Aid Information System (www.ependyseis.gr/mis).

In addition, the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies of the National Center for Research and Technological Development (CERTH / IPTIL), through its digital platform OPENSHOPS.GR (www.openshops.gr), offers to the beneficiaries of the action “e-retail” free of charge:

  • general information about the action
    support for applying the participation in the action
  • Advice and support for administrative / formal issues related to the implementation of the e-retail action, as well as technical issues related to the proper design, implementation and efficient operation of their e-shop.

Through a special tool, which will be posted on the digital platform of www.openshops.gr, the beneficiaries of the action, from Friday 9 July will be able to conduct an indicative check of compliance of their online store (e-shop) with the proposed specifications and recommendations .
